Montepulciano D´abruzzo Cerasuolo Valentini 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

"A bright coral pink color in the glass with orange reflections, this wine has a seductive nose of aromas, sometimes smelled faintly of maple syrup and rose petals, others like orange peel and wet rocks displacement. In the mouth it is smooth and round, hung thickly on the tongue with a body that reminds me more of a red rose. Fairly well balanced, with perhaps a touch less acidity that I might like a rosé, this wine offers a tantalizing combination of flavors dancing between tending to the mineral rainwater, Rose and candied orange peel, all wrapped in a weak whisper red fruit (cherry?). Unlike virtually any rose I have ever had and convincing enough to that. A wine odd, yet amazing." Vincantowine.com
