What can I say? A rich, ripe, lip-smacking berry fruit mix balanced off by nut oil, a bit of soil, and medium acids and tannins. Aroma of sweet flowers and ripe fruit that matches the taste- a mix of red raspberry, strawberry, and cherry. Finish lastest about 4 seconds with nut oil and fruit. Excellent effort, but clearly a salute to New World style.

The 2010 A Quo is insanely beautiful. It boasts gorgeous well-delineated aromatics and tons of energy. The vibrancy of the fruit is impossible not to admire. Red plums raspberries berries and graphite give the wine a cool intensity and minerality that are striking. Layers of fruit build to the vinous yet structured finish. This is a great wine that captures the full personality of the 2010 vintage in Tuscany. It also happens to be a steal. In 2010 the blend is 30% Montepulciano 30% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% Sangiovese 10% Marselan and 10% Alicante Bouschet. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2022. --- Antonio Galloni Robert Parkers Wine Advocate.

Kirschrote Farbe.

Juicy, super-ripe red cherries, crushed rocks, rose petals and licorice waft from the open, inviting bouquet. On the palate, the overriding impression is one of silky finesse in the expressive, racy red fruit.

"Once again, Montepeloso's entry-level A Quo is fabulous. I expected to find a rich, powerful wine given the year, instead the 2011 A Quo is fresh, vibrant and beautifully delineated. Hints of raspberry jam, rose petals and sweet spices literally jump from the glass. The 2011 is best enjoyed over the next few years, while the fruit remains vibrant.
