- Sagrantino has aromas that hint of blackberry, spice and leather. Good tannins give this wine the ability to age. An underlying richness, counterpoints a strength that can sometimes recall an Amarone. Finally, a touch of new oak gives nuance to this singular, lusty red. Excellent with roast red meats, game, fish.
