Had the pleasure of having the close relative of the winemaker at one of my tables last Saturday night. Graciously, I was allowed to taste this little beauty of a Mexican wine. Good deep ruby color. Strong robust Syrah with a big body and firm tannins. Well structured with a fleshy broad mouthfeel. Spicy plum and blackberry flavors dominate with a decent finish. I was surprised to experience this quality from my first mexican wine. Makes me interested in others.
