- This Sangiovese varietal is the result of the synergy between Italian wine specialist Neil Empson and renowned winemaker Franco Bernabei. The best grapes are selected from prime Tuscan hillsides to produce wines that are perfectly blended and aged in oak barrels, so as to achieve consistenet quaility with each vintage. Its full body and lush, fruity flavor make it a perfect match for cheese, pasta, and all mest dishes. Serve at room temperature. Lovely plum and berry character, with loads of ripe fruit. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long finish. Delicious. Best ever under this label.A read more...super value in super Tuscan. Drink now through 2007 -Wine Spectator (hide)
