Fantastic value! Picked this up for ~$10 at our local wine shop, and I will be going back for more! Has the excellent grassy, herbaceous qualities on the nose and palate one would expect from a NZ Sauv Blanc. This one also has some lovely tropical fruit on the nose. Great summer sipper!

I picked this wine because I liked the cute "Monkey" on label. Anyhow, this wine was a good pick-* Nice & sweet, both aroma & flavor. Price is ritht (I got mine below $9) and good with Thanksgiving meal.
Good fruity taste, crisp with a nice tingle on the tongue
Very good, refreshing summer wine. Best very cold imo. The fruit notes are what stand out to me. The acidicity is pronounced, but not so much that it is upsetting to drink.
Picked up this wine at a local CVS...my wife and i love Savignon Blanc from New Zealand....bought for $9.00..turned out to be incredible...will be getting more...
External Reviews for Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough
Wine Tasting NotesPale lemon in color, with green hues and brilliant clarity. A vibrant bouquet of citrus and tropical fruits, with hints of cut grass and capsicum. A wine of charm, elegance and style, the palate has excellent weight and mouthfeel. Showing concentrated tropical fruit flavors of grapefruit, lemon and pineapple, with layers of muted herbal characters. The crisp, balanced freshness of the palate extends into a lingering, refreshing finish.
