Mongeard-Mugneret Vosne-Romanee 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

An oaky nose with oak on the palate as well – the signature mocha and toasted oak flavors. Grilled nuts, super oaky, to the point of being a fault. Somewhat better on the palate because it has a decent level of tangy, lively fruit. Toasty oak and nut-laden flavors of cherry and tobacco on the finish. Wine Makers Notes

Since then and threw all the generations, the family is committed to their passion : Vine and Wine. Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Discreet but not invisible wood sets off the notably ripe blue berry and cassis aromas that are in keeping with the velvety, ripe and seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess good power and solid length. This sample is on the woody sid... Burghound. A Pinot Noir wine from Burgundy in France. 2009 Mongeard-Mugneret, Domaine Vosne Romanee 750ml
