Mongeard-Mugneret Hautes-Côtes de Nuits 2004
Opened, not decanted, over 5 hours. Transparent garnet color. Light body. Bouquet of eucalyptus, cherry, milk chocolate with notes of cedar and orange rind. Good acid and very little tannin. Palate is vibrant with tart cherries and notes of baking spices and toasty vanilla. A long, sappy finish with notes of stonefruit and grass.
