RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
I had this wine at Maggiano's in Philly on a recommendation and I thought it was wonderful. I'm normally not a fan of really full-bodied wines, but this had a great taste to it, a wonderful aroma, and went very well with my lasagna.
Earthy and deep with black fruit aromas. Palate is full bodied with loads of ripe fruit, some nice spice and warm tannins.
A crowd pleaser. This wine doesn't try to do any fancy tricks but is very enjoyable. Tannins are pretty well balanced now, so I'm not sure how this wine would stand up to aging.
Deep clear red/purple in color. Excellent nose (Lush fruit with hints of chocolate). Sits calmly on the palette and tastes of chocolate, cassias, and balanced tannins with a smooth finish
Outstanding! One of the best wines I've tried. Smooth, velvety, lingures and warms. Great aromas, you can taste the berries and spices. Just a great, great wine.

A sleek Napa Valley cabernet, this emphasizes riper fruit, in the wild blueberry and blackberry mode, than Mondavi’s ’04 Reserve. The smooth tannins have a resinous edge, suited to hanger steak.
Firm, rich and supple, with a focused core of cherry, currant, anise, sage and cedar, and the oak in the background. The finish turns firm and mildly tannic. Best after 2000 through 2006.
This is a very fine, high level Cabernet that shows the impeccable nature of Mondavi Reserve. Yet it’s also very tannic and far from being drinkable. Shows a vast repository of black currant, blackberry, black cherry and new oak flavors wrapped into a smooth, velvety mouthfeel whose finish goes on forever. Masculine and authoritative, it should continue to improve for many years. Drink now, with decanting, and through 2017, at least.
Darker and riper than Mondavi's Napa Cabernet, with the blackberries veering into currants, and the oak seems to be newer and smokier, too. Quite dramatic, in the tension of its fruit, oak, acids and tannins. Young and flashy, and will easily age through 2015.

The full-bodied, powerful, pure 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is another outstanding effort revealing notes of spring flowers, toasty oak, creme de cassis, licorice, and graphite. One would have to go back to the 1990, 1991, 2001, or 2002 to find a Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve this impressive. The 2007 should evolve for 20ndash;25 years.
