Wow! was the first thing I thought when I tasted this Riesling in 2008. It has the flavors I prefer such as peach and other fruits, slight honey but with great acid and very well balanced. This did not have the slight funky aftertaste that I have seen in other Rieslings, finishing very clean and refreshing.Add winemaker's notes

Eymaelrsquo;s 2007 Urziger Wurzgarten Riesling Kabinett smells and tastes of lemon and strawberry; offers lift, delicacy, and enormous refreshment; and finishes with a glaze of honey and a lick of salt and wet stone. Simple, but uncannily well-balanced, a very good value, and above all fun to drink, this should stay that way for at least 6ndash;8 years.
Mönchhof's Mosel Slate bottling seems to highlight the tropical nuances of the variety. The wine has lots of ripe pineapple and mango on the nose and finishes with pronounced Slate-y minerality.
The aromas of apple skin and grapefruit peel are backed by an earthy minerality, with a bold, rich texture and body.
