Monarchia Noir 2004

Member Review by Mark Angelillo:

The bright fruity nose is the last part of this wine that I've encountered before in others. What an odd experience. Cough syrup and leather with a bitter finish. Sticks around for a while, too. Wow.

Meaty, fruity anjd slightly hot nose. Quite a powerful wine (especially after i was led to believe that it would taste like Pinot Noir with attitude). Very fruity, almost sweet with its thick treacle-esque texture. A slightly bitter finish, but not altogether unpleasant.
