From March 6, 2007...

I recently paired this wine with skate wings with a lemon-caper sauce on a bed of roasted potatoes, red onions and, yes, asparagus.

The wine is pale straw yellow, very heavy on the glass, with plenty of tears, slowly pouring off the side of the glass. The nose is strong and slightly hot, loaded with lemon grass and sweet creamy butter.
