"Impressive for its ability to balance its bombastic richness with its juicy acidity and structure, the 2010 Mollydooker Shiraz Blue Eyed Boy, 100% Shiraz, is a deep, layered red that offers up aromas of creamy raspberry and blackberry liqueur like qualities to with additional nuances of wet stone like minerality, liquid smoke, melted licorice, and charred meats on the nose. Exuberant and seriously fruited on the palate, with a layered, decadent texture that‟s cleaned up by crisp acids, edgy tannin, and excellent focus on the finish, this excellent Shiraz will benefit from 1-2 years of bottle age, and drink well for 5-7 years after that...92" Rhone Report 06/12 "Smooth and velvety, with depth and a distinctive range of flavors, offering a minty edge to the black cherry, plum and spice, coming together smoothly on the polished finish...91" WS Web 2011
