Rich salmon color with strawberry aroma with a touch of dough. Fruity flavors (strawberry and raspberry). Good but not my style.
I was excited to get to taste such a well-known champagne. Toasty bread and biscuit notes alongside citrus. Very concentrated flavors on the palate, I really liked the tight focus of flavors. Quite dry. Sharp, crisp acidity. I liked this wine quite a bit, though it does come with a hefty price.
Light in feel and exceptionally elegant. Creamy in texture with persistent, tiny bubbles. Classic Champagne nose and flavors of yeast, toast, pear, minerals and subtle tropical fruits that seem to gain weight with each sip. Very crisp and clean, the essence of purity. A wine to sip every night before dinner when we become billionaires.
Wafts of seaside air and citrus fruits on the nose. It brings a lovely graininess to the palate with flavours of pear and cream. And the finish goes on forever! A lovely champagne
I really don't think I have enjoyed champagne until I had this. Sure, I'd like a glass here or there to mix with orange juice or on new years or to freshen my palate or celebrate, but I never said, "Now, this, is amazing." Well, this was amazing... I'll quote my friend Drew, "The bubbles cream in my mouth"
Notes of white pepper and an exotic floral bouquet on the nose. Flavors were simple and clean, with hints of anise and lemon while being dominated by crisp pear and mango notes. Ended with a distinct green, vegetal finish.

This is a classic Dom Perignon vintage. It?s big and fruity initially, a mouthful of ripeness. Then the texture and structure of this dense wine come through. It?s as much wine as Champagne, rich, the apple and fresh pear flavors vying with yeasty
Herersquo;s proof of the great rsquo;96 vintage, an elegant brut balancing density and richness with brisk sophistication. Lemon and apple scents rise up out of the smoky lees, the fruit tight and austere against the richness of the texture. Delicious with cured fish, or with sushi, especially saba.
Fairly youthful and fresh, with lively apple and floral notes alongside deeper, toastier aromas and flavors. Creamy in the mouth, and finishes with a hint of bitter grapefruit.
The ripe sweetness of the 2000 vintage adds to the fleshiness of this wine, seeming superrich without weight. The flavors range from vanilla bean to Brazil nut and citrusy lime, all structured around limestone minerality. Itrsquo;s elegant and refined, the flavors lasting with complexity. Serve with a paillard of chicken in chanterelles and cream.
An elegant, floral style, full of verve and honey, biscuit and roasted flavors. It has that combination of freshness and maturity that creates tension between the elements, along with complexity and a fabulous finish. Drink now through 2005. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.
While the aromatics are based on toastiness, the wine fills them out with a graceful firmness of texture. It tastes of toasted brioche, with a touch of candied lemon to heighten the flavor of buttery prawns sauteed with leeks.
One of the worlds great Champagnes, unique in its classical rigor and baroque opulence, with its newly designed gift box. A magnificent Champagne; an elegant presentation. Dom Perignon Wine Spectator rated 92 points.
