Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

This is the latest release of Oenothèque. It is a youthful Champagne, light in color, rich and honeyed on the nose. Honeyed lemon on the palate, with toasted brioche, leads to intense, cyrstalline minerality.

Winemaker's Notes:

"An intense and extraordinary wine, born of a long gestation, the 93 Oenothequeboasts aromas and flavours of brioche, honey, grapefruit, almonds and plums, inno particular order. Disgorged in 2006, this is s stunningly complex wine, thepalate fresh and taut, but extraordinarily rich and evolved. A paradoxicaltriumph." (Simon Field MW, BBR-Buyer)
