Medium+ lemon-straw colour. There's a touch more vibrancy here on the nose than with the 1985, beginning with an abundance of toasty /yeasty notes and leading to complex suggestions of ginger-nut biscuit, marzipan, lemongrass and a whiff of chalkboar... Winemaker's Notes:

Light yellow. Good, fine and persistent, mousse. A somewhat shy nose of light white and yellow fruit, lemon peel, and a slight nutty touch. Good definition in mouth with more white fruit and good acid. A very classy and charming champagne
