2007 Candela Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Mission Ranch (Miura) Miura, named for Don Eduardo Miura, the most famous breeder of Spanish fighting bulls, has concentrated on Chardonnay, Merlot and Pinot Noir.Most of Miura's small output is distributed to fine hotels and restaurants.Emmanuel Kemiji, founder of Miura and other boutique wines: Kemiji grew up in Spain and England, graduated from UC Davis where he earned degrees in Economics, Spanish and Literature while studying Viticulture and Oenology. Tastes like blueberries with the dirt from the farm still on them. Initial brightness followed by bone-dry finish. Not bad.
