Superb and smooth berry-filled intense wine with a memorable nose and silky finish that flirted with my palette from the very first sip! Brilliant! Thanks Mo;)

This rich red is redolent of tobacco, roasted game and spices around a core of dark cherry and berry flavors, playing against fine tannins. Best from 2014 through 2020. 400 cases imported. -HS Wine Spectator. A Syrah wine from South Australia in Australia. 2009 Mitolo Shiraz GAM 750ml

Decadent and hedonistically styled, the 2009 Mitolo Shiraz G.A.M. is loaded with deep, rich aromas of plum sauce, crème de cassis, roasted meats, hints of truffle, and licorice that carry to a full-bodied, upfront, and fruit-driven wine. Needing air ... Rhone Report, The. A Syrah wine from South Australia in Australia. 2009 Mitolo Shiraz GAM 750ml

Fashioned from a McLaren Vale vineyard, the 2005 Shiraz G.A.M. (named after the Mitolo children mdash; Gemma, Alexander, and Marco) is a deep ruby/purple-hued effort displaying beautiful blackberry, white pepper, licorice, and toasty oak notes. Rich, full-bodied, and intense, with blueberry and blackberry flavors, sweet tannin, and excellent purity, it is a tour de force in winemaking. Enjoy it over the next decade.

The spectacular, dense ruby/purple-colored 2003 Shiraz G. A. M. (named after the Mitolo familyrsquo;s three children) exhibits aromas of lead pencil shavings, blackberries, blueberries, cassis, licorice, new oak, and scorched earth. This complex 2003 comes across as a hypothetical blend of a great La Mission-Haut-Brion from Bordeaux and a Rhone Valley Hermitage such as Chapoutierrsquo;s Pavillon. Everything is seamlessly integrated into this tour de force in winemaking. It should age for 10ndash;15+ years.

Dark brooding ruby red, almost opaque in the glass. The texture is expansive mdash; initially soft on the palate, the flavors keep building to a dense, full-throttle red. Chewy and bulky with black berries, mint, toasty oak and a long, satisfying finish. Solid as a tank.

Aged 18 months in primarily French oak, the 2004 Shiraz G.A.M. is an exceptional example of a precise yet full-flavored, concentrated Shiraz. Its gorgeous perfume of blueberries, blackberries, camphor, licorice, and pain grille is followed by an inky/blue/purple-colored wine offering superb purity, full-bodied richness, and gorgeous depth as well as texture. This fabulous effort is another example of Ben Glaetzerrsquo;s brilliant talents. It should drink well for 15 years.
