- Crescent combines the individual attributes and characters of each variety to give a unique blend of complexity, texture, length and persistence. The Shiraz adds violet and black cherry flavors and contributes structure and length. The Mourvedre provides rich, chocolatey, earthy flavors that contribute the textural component of the blend. Grenache gives fragrance, brightness and delicacy. The resulting blend is complex, grapey, integrated, persistent and seamless. 40% Shiraz, 30% Mourvedre and 30% Grenache
