- Very smooth with raisin notes. Smooth finish. Good oak - leather and dill.

- One of the top wines of Bodegas Mitarte, an elegant Rioja Crianza with a smooth finish.
This is a dark cherry, garnet colored wine with a potent nose of jammy red fruit, spicy oak, and herbs. A flavorful palate of red fruit and spice flavors typical of Tempranillo also offers a hint of wood and nice drying tannins leading to a smooth finish. An elegant wine that pairs well with roast or barbecued chicken, lamb chops, London broil, and sheeps milk cheese. Can cellar for 4 to 6 years.

- Can't remember this wine too much. I don't recall it being bad but I don't recall it being superb either.

- At 14% this wine has quite an alcoholic nose. In the mouth, however, its beautiful. Lots of well integrated oak, good supple tannins, well aged. Good baked fruit flavors. A fine Crianza.

- Beautiful! A great wine - smooth, well integrated tannins, good oak, great fruit and a beautiful, long finish. I recently bought 12 bottles to a weekend away with friends and this was the unanimous favorite by each of us.
