Mission Hill Winery Oculus(2003)
Oculus is Mission Hill Family Estate's signature Bordeaux-inspired wine. This elegant and complex wine represents the pinnacle of everything we do from vineyard regimen to winemaking. Selected clusters from designated blocks within our estate owned vineyards in Osoyoos and Oliver are set aside and nurtured for this wine. At the winery, the fruit undergoes fermentation and extended maceration prior to aging in new and one year old French oak barrels for 14 months or more.

- This wine is huge bold long finish, strong tannins, will need some time in the cellar to soften up but should be a very well balanced wine in a few more years. It will be interesting to see where it is at next year.
