So we were invited over to some friends for supper a couple days ago, and they asked me to bring some wine. Salmon with blue berry relish was on the menu, so I was going to pick up a white wine.
I walked into my local wine store right there on the first shelf I saw was Mission Hill's premium wine 2006 S.LC. Chardonnay ($29.99). Now generally speaking I don't think you need to spend extra to get a great wine so I didn't really want to spring for it because there are a lot of really good whites out there for $20.00, but you hardly ever see the SLC outside the winery, at least at the stores read more...I am close to.
So I sprung for it and we were not disappointed. Really enjoyed this wine. I found it to complex deep flavour that came across extremely smooth. No regrets, worth every penny. If you have the chance and see this wine pick it up and give it a try. (hide)
