Mission Hill Family Estate, a modern take on old-world architecture, is one of the most impressive wineries anywhere.
Pretty nose. Loads of florals and peaches. Really good! - Tasted at Wine Spectator New World Wine Experience 2010
Tasted at Tapenade Restaurant in Steveston after the Sun Run. Wonderful citrus and peach character, very much in the style of an Aussie Riesling. Dry but huge mouthfeel and long finish. $27 for 500 mL carafe so I guess its around $20 - $25 at the winery. Perfect thirst quencher after 10 km run; exquisite with tapendae on croutini and with medium rare albacore tuna with couscous cooked in saffron. Also try Intrique Riesling for $16.99 at VQA stores, like Sip Wines at Ironwood in Richmond. Very similar in style.
