Mission Estate Gewurztraminer 2006

Member Review by whitediamond:

just finished the last glass of a huntaway viognier 2010 as I opened the 2011 mission estate gewurztraminer. As I raised the glass to my mouth the spicey floral aromas almost knocked me out putting the older(maybe thats why) viognier to shame.the Mission estate wine was fantastic maybe a little overripe and oily but the light aromatic and spicy taste makes me think before I drink another viognier.Still both are to sweet after a short 2 glasses and I retreat into a clean Matua Valley 2011 Sauvignon Blanc.
