User Reviews for Mirassou Vineyards Pinot Noir California
Add your reviewEnjoying this a lot right now after work. Looks great in the glass and a little heavy on the mouth for what I was expecting, but then it thins out. A lot of fruit up front but to me has a vanillia bit on the finish. After what I had before this taste like a Talley.
I recently had this as a glass pour in a restaurant. It was tasted by all - and enjoyed by all as well. I found it surprisingly sweet for a pinot, and quite jammy. No oak, little noticeable tannins. Very drinkable, but sweeter than I would have with a meal.
External Reviews for Mirassou Vineyards Pinot Noir California
Our Mirassou California Pinot Noir displays fresh fruit flavors of pomegranates, cherries and currants with complementing aromas of strawberries, pomegranates and cherries. This wine is at its best if enjoyed within a year of release, but can age in the bottle for up to three years if carefully cellared. - Winery
Displaying intense fruit flavors of strawberries, pomegranates, and cherries, balanced with delicate floral notes, Mirassou California Pinot Noir is a bright reflection of our heritage as the pioneer
Intense flavors of strawberries, pomegranates, and cherries. These primary flavors are enhanced by secondary flavors of floral and spice characters. This wine is at its best if enjoyed within a year of release, but should be able to age in the bottle for up to three years.
Winemaker's Notes:
This wine has seen explosive growth in sales and when you try it, you will understand why. Imagine, the finicky pinot noir grape, being crafted so well at such a ridiculously low price. We can't keep enough of it in the store!
