Add your reviewHad this again last night with an appetizer. Not bad all. Nice bubbles and a golden yellow color. Quite fruity, with surprisingly to me, notes of apple and orange.
Picked up a bottle of this to bring to a friend's brunch this weekend. I'd forgotten how tasty this inexpensive sparkler is! Dry and elegantly styled and not too gassy as some Proseccos at this price point can be. It's a really excellent go to. And tastes much more expensive than it is!
A very light straw color, lots of bubbles with citrus notes on the nose. I believe it is lemon or lemon zest. Also tasting lemon and other citrus, maybe grapefruit. A very short finish with hints of lemon. This is a pretty good sparkler for a ridiculous price. We usually have this with a 1/2 ounce of lemoncello.
This prosecco was dryish, yet fruity with a pale yellow gold color. It matched well with spicy food. It hit the tip of the tongue. It was not too bubbly.
From Fine Cooking: "crisp green apple, citrus, and toast; gently sparkling, good with oysters, shellfish, smoked salmon, light nibbles."

The Wall Street Journal selected Mionetto Brut as the best wine of their tasting and best value. Also dubbed an "Amazing Value" by Food & Wine who included it in their Top 100 Bottles to Drink Right Now. The perfect wine for every occasion, this dry but richly fruity Prosecco comes from the most prestigious producer of this beloved Italian Sparkler. Mionetto has made a name for Prosecco by turning out delicious expressive bottlings just like this one. Ripe Prosecco grapes from the hillsides of Valdobbiadene in Northern Italy are fermented into fresh white wine. Then a secondary fermentation is done in tank for a refreshing effervescence that brings it all to life. Apple, mineral and vanilla nuances tickle the palate and since its Brut style it finishes very dry and clean. This wine holds no pretensions of being a Champagne replica. It stands on its own as a delicious and tremendous value.

Thereandrsquo;s a pretty floral edge to this crisp sparkler, mixing with green apple and lemon zest flavors. The finish is lightly juicy.

Mionettos NV Prosecco Brut is a crisp sparkling wine with attractive aromatics and a pretty core of sweet perfumed fruit. It is best enjoyed over the next year or so. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2009. Antonio Galloni Wine Advocate

This wine has an intense fruity bouquet with a hint of golden apple. Brut, fresh and light in body, Mionetto Prosecco Brut is well-balanced and easy to drink.

Nestled beneath the Alps in northeastern Italy, the region of Valdobbiadene is as inviting as its sparkling wine. Prosecco, made with the grape of the same name, is not a sparkler that needs over-analysis. True, its juicy pear and apple flavors and lively bubbles have immediate appeal, and, true as well, Prosecco made from grapes grown in the most prized vineyards often show more depth, complexity and structure than their more modest namesakes. But it is, most of all, a sparkling wine to be enjoyed without a great deal of ceremony. Recently, I had the privilege to taste the whole product line of Mionetto with its winemaker, Alessio Del Savio: from the simplest to the most complex, all pure pleasure. It is delightful, affordable and extremely versatile: on its own, on any occasion, in mimosas or bellinis, or served as they do in the Veneto in a Spritz mdash; equal parts of Prosecco and Aperol or Campari over ice, garnished with a slice of orange.
