Candy & cherry cough drops on the nose with hints of menthol and licorice. Med-light bodied. Watery cherry menthol flavor; hints of pepper... ...easing into a slightly metallic aftertaste which rests at the back of the throat.

This wine may lack the dramatic power of its top-flight brethren, but it still satisfies, delivering reasonably complex notes of cherries, rhubarb and olive carried by silky tannins and moderate alcohol. Drink this terrific value over the next year or two.

An outrageous value, the 5,000-case cuvée of 2002 Shiraz Milton Park is an opaque purple-colored effort displaying loads of peppery, licorice-infused blackberry and cassis fruit. It is a big, succulent, South Australian fruit bomb to enjoy over the next 2-3 years.

Bright purple. Primary aromas of dark berries and cherry skin, with a hint of black pepper. Juicy and broad, with a bit of warmth to the supple blackberry and candied cherry flavors. Open-knit and easy to drink, with good finishing cling and some heat.

This full-bodied Australian red features rich, plumy fruit with spicy overtones. It will stand up well with pasta, red meats and game.

A superb value, the 2005 Shiraz Milton Park is unbelievable for this price point. It reveals copious amounts of blackberries, black cherries, tar, licorice, and a hint of oak. Beautifully textured, rich, full-bodied, and lush, it should be consumed over the next 3ndash;4 years.

An incredible value, this Shiraz shows loads of peppery blackberry along with hints of spicy oak. Fresh and lively in the mouth, clean, firm and fruity on the finish, this wine is wonderfully drinkable now.
