User Reviews for Milos Plavac Mali Peninsula Peljesac Croatia

Winemaker's Notes:

Traditionalist Croatian winemaker Frano Milos crafted this wine from the heart of Plavac Mali land, the Peljesac Peninsula, just north of Dubrovnik. This Plavac is garnet in color with a salmon edge. The nose is of red roses, autumn floor, mushrooms, and earth, giving way to red fruits and well rounded tannins. Vinified with minimal intervention, natural yeasts, and aged for 12 months in neutral Slavonian oak then 24 months bottle age. Alcohol 12.8%. 2,500 cases produced.
