Winemaker's Notes:

Our 2006 Merlot was harvested on September 28th and 29th from our Dry Creek Valley estate vineyard. Aromas of jam, ripe plum and spice lead to flavors of sweet allspice, plum, cola and berries. This is a medium bodied wine with light tannins and a lingering finish. It pairs well with grilled spring lamb chops, prime rib and good old-fashioned meatloaf. Also try with lasagna and dishes that call for bleu cheese.
