Miguel Torres Gran Viña Sol 2005

Member Review by ryanopaz:

The nose is classic riesling with a some honey, light earth and faint petrol. Light gold in color and fully dry with a lemon profile in the mouth. Being a bit austere I would search out foods for this one and might consider some of the local Butifarra sausage to help with the dryness. 3/5 [NR]

Light gold in color, the nose jumps out of the glass with cut grass, and pear coming to mind. The mouth feel is soft with a medium acidity and a somewhat flat finish. Very herbal in the mouth with nice peach hints. Nice wine, but nothing to write home about. 2.5/5 [NR]
