To craft our flagship Chardonnay, this exploration took us to California’s Russian River Valley, where layers of ocean fog cool the vines that grow in the region’s famous Goldridge sandy loam soils. Reflecting this world-class terroir, this vibrant and sophisticated Chardonnay combines white flower aromatics with enticing lemon custard and stone fruit flavors.

Pineapple, lime and apple come together on the nose along with a rather gentle touch of oak that contributes some almond, vanilla, and earth tones as opposed to overt spiciness. Medium full and bright in the mouth, this delivers lots of classic creamy pineapple flavors framed by modest but obvious oak spice. It's a bit riper on the palate than the nose suggests, though the finish does show more lime toned freshness. 87pts

The nose is very rich, lots of melons, flowers, and fresh-cut grass. The mouth is mild, with some oak to draw out the flavor, with a very pleasant buttery finish.
