Middle Sister:
Because we remember swim lessons and day camp and beach houses. Because we forget bad boyfriends, missed birthdays and lost bracelets. Because we like to eat, drink and laugh, but we hate to do the dishes afterwards. Because you have better hair, but I can karaoke. To celebrate all the reasons that bring us together. And because we think middle sisters sometimes deserve a little extra attention. This wine's for you. Share it with a sister soon.
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Very citrussy on the nose with distinct notes of lime, dusty earth, a touch of rubber boot and diesel, and a hint of dried basil. On the palate this is broad and soft with barely adequate acidity. It does have subtle fruit flavors of key lime pie and green apple fruit but is pretty simple. The finish shows a nice sweet edge to the fruit, without the wine actually being sweet, and good floral tones. While this is simple it should have broad appeal. 84pts

Heavy on the citrus but a nice crisp finish. Goes grest with bbq chicken!
