Decent wine, but leaves a bit of a harsh burning feeling in the back of the throat.
Nice easy red wine for the price.
Nice floral notes. Earthy, roasty blue and purple fruit on the nose. Crisp, tart and berry-accented with good fruit and medium body. Easy drinking, soft red berry fruit. Clean and nice. Sour, tart finish. 88 pts. 12/15/12
Strong wood spice on the nose, as well as espresso, dark chocolate and black cherry. On the palate, it's tart and acidic. Flavors of blackberry, plum and pomegranate, all fresh. Hints of flowers. Very youthful, needs more time to relax. 3/10/12
Sweet blackberry, plum and pomegranate fruit is fresh and vibrant as this red unfolds ... Drink now through 2018. -BS
I was looking for Bonny Doon's Muscat, but the store didn't have it and recommended this. For a sweet wine, it is very good. It has a nice honey peach flavor. I prefer moderately sweet wines-this is too sweet.

Scents of tar and truffles introduce this darkly fruited barbera. The supple texture yields sweeter fruit in the end, black and rosy, with a hint of honeyed pear. For grilled sausages.
This is very jammy, with lots of blackberry and raspberry. Full and soft, with plenty of fruit on the finish. Straightforward and delicious. Drink now.
