In this warm, yet dry climate the Malbec achieves near perfect ripeness endowing the wines with a velvety texture and intense flavors of blackberry, peppery spice, and balsamic herbs. The cooler, well-drained slopes of the hillsides of the region have proven to be ideally suited for Malbec, allowing for the wines to achieve a level of complexity and harmony that rivals those of Napa or Bordeaux.

Rating: 3/5 - As reviewed by Decanter Fairly intensive, dark and spicy fruit. Full bodied, creamy, ripe dark fruits, nice balancing acidity and tannins, good length. Drink 2009-12.
