What to Expect
The Gamay grape finds it's home in France's Burgundy region where it is responsible for the red wines of Beaujolais. Producing light to medium bodied wines with modest tannins and good acidity, Gamay is unfairly associated with Beaujolais Nouveau. It is capable of producing wonderful, cherry and raspberry flavored wines with earthy hints of violets and spice.

Some berry fruit and Indian spice with some nice floral aromas and inner mouth floral aromas. There is a little spritz due to it's youth. Seems a bit dilute with not much flavor. 2007's across Beaujolais, when I tasted them, did not impress me much. KInd of a burnt sensation on the finish.
