User Reviews for Michel Niellon Chassagne-Montrachet

Winemaker's Notes:

2010 was one of the greatest vintages for Burgundy white wines in decades, and this Chassagne Montrachet from the respected local producer Michel Niellon is really a stunner with beautiful ripe fruit, pretty minerality, and long length."Pale, bright yellow. White peach and pear aromas complicated by nuances of tangerine, menthol, stone and flowers. Juicy, pure and intense, showing lovely vibrancy and inner-mouth tension. This classic Chassagne finishes gripping and long, with flavors of white peach and white flowers. *An excellent village wine.*"Edited from Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar "The 2010 white Burgundies are some of the *most riveting* young wines I have ever tasted.... the essence of everything *great* Burgundy can be..." Edited from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
