User Reviews for Michel & Stephane Ogier Cote-Rotie

Winemaker's Notes:

Most Exciting Wine of The
Vintage
Stephane Ogier is a producer who is very much in form. Since taking over
from his father in 2000 he has really begun to make a name for himself as a
producer of makes wines that are consistently excellent, yet reflect the
specific vintage characteristics. His 2008 offering is savoury and perfectly
poised, full of dark bramble fruits, tapenade and spice. Benchmark stuff!
(Matthew Tipping, BBR Fine Wine Sales Executive)

A combination of ten parcels from the Côtes Blonde and Brune, blended
together after a year and now finishing their harmonious marriage, this has
impressive concentration and elegance, and is now one of the signature wines of
the appellation.
(Simon Field MW, Rhône Buyer)
