Rising from the resurgent Lodi Appellation, Michael~David Winery produces some of the finest award-winning varietal wines in California. We are six generations of winegrowers specializing in hand-crafted Rhone varietals as well as Lodi's famous Old Vine Zinfandels. Our tasting room, café and farmer's fresh market are located just 30 minutes south of Sacramento and one hour east of the Bay Area. Enjoy!
Rich combination of red fruits, coffee, and chocolate. What a fruity petite sirah should be. Excellent value.
Extremely intense. The darkest, inkiest wine I may ever have had. Powerful fruit, but not overly sweet. Less jam than canonical petite sirah. Long finish. Alcoholic, both literally (15.5%) and in flavor/nose. Delicious.
Wonderful, jammy fruit-forward wine. Heavy mouth feel with a smooth finish. Delicious.
Excellent, powerful from start to finish.
