Aged 16 months in new French Oak, our carnivalistic blend of Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot is definitely the star of the show. Trunk fulls of blueberry, plum, violet, and chalky tannins give a seamless finish to this jumbo size offering.

Reviews for 2007 Vintage
Great wine and creative label. Enjoyed all the nuances of the aroma - nutmeg, cherries, and bacon. Nice balance of sweet/dry in the mouth and the finish is long with caramel. This is a great food wine!
Definitely robust, tannins a bit too strong for my taste at first, but settles down nicely
Very much a fruit-bomb, with blackberries and vanilla dominating on the nose and palate, but also hints of black currant. Very jammy/juicy but well constructed.
finished half the bottle after reading a few reviews here. i read reviews of the 06 though. maybe drinking after reading reviews is the wrong way to do it. the reviews stated the wine is good, but even better if you let sit on the shelf awhile before opening... well because the reviews were good i couldnt wait. i opened this petite petit blend and was very happy, initially. the more i drank i kept flashing back to reviews i read saying it'd be even better aging little while longer. i got so angry at my self for not letting it age more. well not so angry i couldnt enjoy this kick ass blend :) tasted some plum, maybe blackberry. i dont know how to describe this next thing maybe you guys have a wine word for it. but i remember feeling like when id swallow, the wine went down real frickin easy and that my palate cleared hecka quick. loved it
07 PP is my favorite MD wine. accurate reviews by DK and aron below. I'll get a case of this to share w/friends.
This is a rich, jammy, velvety berry fruit bomb. Blackberry is the standout characteristic with violets, plum, blueberry and nutmeg all part of this wine’s nose. Anticipate hints of vanilla as well. Needs a big steak or roast.
Drinking great right now. Needs a half hour decant to blow off some steam. Boats of blueberry jam. The petit verdot is prevalent in the finish with a sexy old timey liquer vibe. This wine is perfect to bring to a dinner party because it would go with just about any food.
I paired it with hormel salisbury steak with brown rice and steamed carrots in gravy. great fit.
