Amazing, fruity, rich Zinfandel! Spends 12 months in both French and American oak. Rich cherry color, with pinkish rim. Nose is layered with berries aromas. Loaded with berry fruit, pepper, spice, and earth characteristics. Silky smooth, great balance of tannins and acidity. Nice juicy finish. And for pairing-of course it will be great with barbecue, ribs, pork, lamb. Cheers!

My husband and I tried this at a small Italian restaurant and it is divine. It has a smooth, earthly, richness with a warm tingle of cinnamon and pepper. It would go well with any foods, but we had it with pheasant, brown caramel sauce and wild rice~delicious!

Zinfandel is as American as baseball, hot dogs and apple pie. In fact, I'll add bourbon and James Dean to the list. Like the rebel without a cause, Zin stands alone and defiant against the social norms, marching to a different drum. Sourced from seven of Lodi's best growers, the wine takes on its own unique characteristics. Picture if you will a bowl of freshly picked super ripe wild berries sprinkled with cinnamon and a dash of brown sugar spice. Have it with any style of BBQ, yum! Dare I say Zin-fully delicious? Zin is in; pound for pound it's the best deal around.

Deep, rich and seductive, with loads of ripe bramble-berry fruit and chocolate notes.

This is an interesting Zinfandel from Lodi, an area not known for particularly high quality wine. The 2004 Seven Deadly Zins (you've gotta love the name) exhibits a deep ruby/purple color as well as a big, briery, spicy, peppery nose, excellent texture, very good fruit, and a medium to full-bodied finish. Drink it over the next 1-2 years. There are 110,000 cases of this fairly priced cuvee.

The 2007 7 Deadly Zins is a knock-out bargain. Aged completely in American oak, it is loaded with berry fruit, pepper, spice, and earth characteristics. This rich, full-bodied, opulent, luscious Zinfandel can be drunk now and over the next several years.

Pure and powerful, ripe and rich, supple and smooth, it's packed with ripe black berry flavors that showcase the sweeter aspects of the grape, while at the same time maintaining its structure and adding a nice dose of chocolate and vanilla.

Seven... lucky seven, seventh heaven, seven horsemen of the apocalypse, "when the moon is in the seventh house," seven wonders of the ancient world, Seven, starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, The House of the Seven Gables, seven continents, 7-Up, and now this. In a world full of sevens comes a luscious blend of seven vineyards in Lodi that's all Zin. Pure and powerful, ripe and rich, supple and smooth, it's packed with ripe black berry flavors that showcase the sweeter aspects of the grape, while at the same time maintaining its structure and adding a nice dose of chocolate and vanilla. And for your convenience, all seven sins are listed on the front label, including the one you always forget, anger, which would really tick me off if I hadn't so successfully mastered sloth.
