Meyer-Nakel Spatburgunder Ahr Walporzheimer Krauterberg Gg 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

From the riper, more concentrated 2009 vintage! Ripe aromas of black berries, dark cherries and plums. More rich and round than the 2008 but still very fine and elegant. Velvet, texture on the palate laced with cherries, bitter chocolate, and plums. Very persistent, layered soft tannin laced finish. Only 250 sixpacks produced. Alcohol 14.0%. Decanter magazine writes: Weingut Meyer-Näkel is one of the finest purveyors of Pinot Noir in Germany.
