Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

User Reviews for Meursault-Blagny 1-Er Cru. Chateau de Blagny. Louis Latour

Winemaker's Notes:

An exclusive of Maison Louis Latour (monopole), the Château de Blagny is located high on the hillside overlooking Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. A wonderful wine, traditionally vinified and matured in small oak barrels. It displays all the attributes of exemplary white Burgundy, showing opulence and a minerally freshness, coupled with rich, fat flavours which develop magnificently over time.

Tasting Notes:

With a lightly oaky aroma, this pale yellow Meursault 1er Cru also reveals notes of acacia flowers and honey. Clean, with minerality coming through, this wine has impressive length and leaves citrus notes on the back-palate. Tasted November 2010.
