Vintage: 2006 05/13/2009

This is an outstanding spatlese. It is bursting with flavors that come out in several layers. It has wonderful tropical fruit aromas. Apricots, pears, peaches, mango, papaya, and pineapple show themselves one after the other and the sweetness is countered with just the right amount of acidity. The price is right too. This was on sale at a popular Minneapolis wine shop for $14. what a bargain for such a great wine

Well integrated and balanced,this white displays apricot, peach, citrus and stone flavors. It as richness offset by lively acidity, allowing it to cruise gracefully to a lingering, complex aftertaste.
