Really an incredible wine for the price. Rich, complex, smokey, with extensive vanilla overtones. Long finish for such a young wine.
Four and a half glasses
great contained fruit bomb. think of a fruit associated with cali cabernet and it's in there. tasty bubblegum finish. Drinks like a wine 4 times its price. Terrific QPR.
Earthy, rich, chocolate-y.
One of the best bangs for the buck. A big cab at a little price. they make a really really good petite syrah as well.
simply delicious, lovely taste

Winemaker's Notes:Our family has been growing grapes for eight generations, dating back to a small German, now French village Alsace. We have been growing premium wine grapes in the Lodi appellation
An expression of our passion and commitment to quality. We invite you to enjoy our Cabernet, rich with forward fruit, nicely balanced tannins and a velvety smooth finish.
Winemaker's Notes:Our family has been growing grapes for eight generations, dating back to a small German, now French village Alsace. We have been growing premium wine grapes in the Lodi appellation for five generations. We were one of the very first farming families to introduce French clones to our region, and have experience growing many varieties of grapes. We farm hundreds of acres some of which date back to our families original properties, which are over 100 years old.
Our 2007 Cabernet is a true crowd pleaser, and a wine that will not dissapoint. It pairs nicely with rich sauces and earthy side dishes, and is dedlicious with dark chocolate.
Wine Tasting NotesDeep, complex and polished, the Mettler Cabernet Sauvignon is indistinguishable in character and style from its well known counterparts in the premium cabernet districts in California. Layers of supple black cherry, mocha and vanilla flavors, are underscored by pretty toasty oak and well-integrated tannins. A rich mouth-feel guides you gently toward the long, lush, elegant finish.
