Metairie Sauvignon Blanc les Oliviers 2004

Member Review by Philip James:

My favorite of the Metairie wines. These are very similar to Luc Pirlet's other wines, but these are aged in steel (no oak). This wine is very refreshing, with a slighly grassy nose, and a very (for a SB) fruity taste. Good acidity - grapefruit and lemon. Fantastic value

A custom brand, but made by the well known Luc Pirlet. Saimilar to his other wines, except these are all made in stainless steel. My favorite Metairie wine. I havent had it in a while, but it was a nice slightly grassy SB with lots of citrus fruits. Very refreshing.
