A straightforward, Sauvignon, older than most of our other whites, it offers more rounded flavors and body, and less acidity. 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Pirlet's hillside vineyards above the medieval fortress town of Carcassonne in the upper Aude valley. The grapes undergo skin contact maceration, followed by a gentle pressing. Fermentation is temperature-controlled and takes place in stainless steel over the course of 15 days. A rich gold color with a honeyed nose. The round, rich mouth makes it an excellent pairing with spicy asian cuisine. Drink now through the end of the year, well chilled.Pair read more...

A straightforward, youthful Sauvignon Blanc from French winemaker Luc Pirlet.

A pale lemon color and youthful nose of grass, herbs, and fresh tropical and citrus fruits scream refreshing and the taste does not disappoint as zesty fresh fruit zings your palate. Even better, not only is this a great aperitif wine, but it is also ideal for all clambake fare, including: ceviche; shellfish; grilled fish dishes; and shrimp cocktail. Drink over the next 24 months.

A custom brand, but made by the well known Luc Pirlet. Saimilar to his other wines, except these are all made in stainless steel.

My favorite Metairie wine. I havent had it in a while, but it was a nice slightly grassy SB with lots of citrus fruits. Very refreshing.
