Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Winemaker's Notes:

80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot, 6% Merlot, 2% Malbec, 1% Cabernet Franc. Dark red with black hues. Aromas of raspberry, bright red berry fruit, red currant, graphite, tobacco. Focused entry on the palate, medium weight, rich mid-palate, displays nice structure, framed by acid and tannin; very nice length. Barrel aged 17 months in French and American oak (25% new). Alcohol 14.5%.
