Merryvale Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Starmont 2006
Had a bold almost flavor on the nose, but really opened up smoothly as it breathed. Decent wine for the price, but nothing to really wow you.

Won't disappoint with its wealth of black currants, blackberries, minerals an... Wine Enthusiast. A Cabernet Sauvignon wine from California in USA. 2006 Merryvale Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml
The Starmont designation is sort of a junior version of Merryvalersquo;s more expensive wines and is often a solid value. So it is with this Cab, whose grapes come from some prestigious vineyards. Itrsquo;s dry, rich and complex, with a classic Napa balance of firm, sweet tannins, acidity and cassis and cherry fruit. Beautiful now, and should hold well for six years.

Our 2006 Napa Cabernet is dark purple in color with aromas of violets, cassis framed by cedar and vanilla. The mouthfeel is focused with fine tannins and a long finish.
