Merry Edwards Pinot Noir Russian River Valley Red Usa California Sonoma Russian River Valley 2007
Bright aroma effuses floral accents of violets laced with blueberries black raspberries and a hint of exotic brown spice. In the mouth this graceful Pinot has firm yet approachable tannins. Mineral notes are dusted with sweet cocoa to complete the appealing palate. Somewhat shy when young this coastal wine displays an intriguing complexity that will blossom with age. Porcini puffs or wild mushroom frittata as an appetizer complement this elegant Pinot.

Light rose petal color. Ripe red fruit aromas on the nose. Strawberries and sour cherries up front. well balanced through the finish. The acidity tickles the eougne on the very end creating a pleasing sensation for several minutes afterwords.
One of the best Pinot Noir's I've ever tasted!

Medium to dark garnet in color, this wine has a very pretty nose of raspberry and an interesting dichotomy between an airy sweetness and a briary quality that speaks to deeper complexity. In the mouth it is lithe and slippery, and almost more aromatic than it is flavorful. Beautiful bright raspberry flavors with hints of cedar swirl on the palate coursing over nice smooth, faint tannins that are balanced with excellent acidity.
