A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2005 Edwards, Merry Pinot Noir Coopersmith 750ml

Winemaker's Notes:

The fragrant aroma of this Pinot unfolds with black raspberries, laced with dark chocolate -- a consistent signature for this wine. Crushed black fruit, syrupy blue plums, black tea, cinnamon and anise expand its broad profile. Bountiful fruit overflows onto the palate leaving in its wake a memory of mellow, yet firm tannins on the long, lavish finish. This vintage shows a wonderful, mature balance throughout. Not yet reviewed; 2009 vintage rated 95 points and 'Cellar Selection' by Wine Enthusiast.
