Rating: 84/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the September 2010 issue. If on the one hand high in ripeness, this inconsistent and oddly constructed effort is shot through with a conflicting streak of greenness, and it is both stiff and hot with a decidedly sour turn to its rigid finish.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Further bottle aging can improve this wine.

A delicious balance of earth and fruit, this wine is marked by aromas of leather and cherry cola that give way to flavors of violets and blueberry on the palate. A velvety mouthfeel with soft tannins and a lingering finish, this wine is a perfect pairing with lighter meat dishes such as lamb or duck.
